design experiments

These are some designs made just for fun, and didn't need a case study.
Maybe, in the future, they may become real projects. Who knows...

What if WhatsApp had more stickers?

I thought that having links and photos as stickers would make chats more enjoyable and personal.

Modular phone design

Just a design exploration for a modular phone that doesn't give up to style.

About

Samuel's profile picture.

Ciao! My name is Samuel.
Since I was a child, i loved drawing and "designing" things. Lifelong friends and family remember me for recognizing brands just for their design, since I was a toddler.
Approaching the Personal Computer was an epiphany for me. I've always been a really observant person, so as I was gaining confidence with softwares, I was noticing a reoccuring critical approach towards them.
So I started redesigning those softwares, not because I wanted them to be more beautiful, but because I wanted them to be more understandable for everyone. Even though at the time the process didn't have a name, I really loved doing it.
In 2018 I started Computer Engineering at UNIMORE, but as years passed I realized there wasn't space for my creativity to shine. So in 2023 I quit, conscious and grateful for the knowledge I've acquired, and started my journey as a designer.
